Health and safety programs built for your work
A safety program should describe how your company actually works, meet the legislation you work under and stand up at audit. We write custom programs from the ground up, or rebuild the binder you already have into something your crews will use.

Written to your operations
We start with how your work is done: the tasks, the equipment, the sites and the people. Policies, procedures and safe work practices are then written for that scope, so a worker reading them recognizes their own job.
Aligned with the legislation you work under
Each program is aligned with the occupational health and safety legislation of the provinces and territories you operate in, and, for federally regulated work, the Canada Labour Code. Where the rules differ, the program says which applies where.
Ready for audit, usable in the field
We structure programs around the elements a COR or SECOR audit looks for, so the evidence an auditor needs is created by doing the work. Plain language and practical forms keep it in use between audits.

Questions
How is this different from buying a template?
A template is a strong starting point you tailor yourself. Program development is that work done for you: we write to your tasks, sites and legislation and review it with your team. Many clients start from one of our templates to keep the cost down.
Will the program be COR or SECOR ready?
We build programs around the elements the audit standard assesses, so they are set up to be audited. Certification itself comes from passing the audit with your Certifying Partner.
Do you write programs for provinces other than Alberta?
We work in every Canadian province and territory, on site in Alberta and remotely everywhere else.
Can the program live in software instead of a binder?
Yes. Policies, procedures and forms can be loaded into TruStar Connect, with sign-off tracking so you can show who has read what.
