Experienced safety leadership, embedded on your project

On-site safety management for complex projects

Safety leadership that works where your crews work. We put experienced advisors and managers on your project, full-time or on rotation, to run day-to-day HSE, keep the paperwork honest and help supervisors make good calls under schedule pressure.

Experience on large, complex work

Our advisors have held senior HSE roles on major projects, including LNG developments, oil sands and refining, and large industrial construction. That experience is what lets them spot the hazard in a lift plan or a congested work front before it becomes an incident, and work with supervisors rather than around them.

Day-to-day HSE that keeps work moving

Orientations, field level hazard assessments, inspections, toolbox talks, permit support, incident response and the reporting your client asks for. The aim is a site that is compliant and productive at the same time, with problems raised early and fixed in the field.

Coaching supervisors and crews

A good safety advisor leaves a site better than they found it. We coach foremen and supervisors on hazard assessments, pre-job meetings and stop-work decisions so the safety program does not depend on one person being on shift.

Who calls us for this

  • General contractors and subcontractors starting a project that needs a dedicated safety representative
  • Owners and EPCs who need an experienced HSE lead for a shutdown, turnaround or construction phase
  • Companies covering a vacancy, a leave or a busy season without hiring full-time
  • Teams new to a client's site requirements who need someone who has worked to them before

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Scope the role

We learn the project, the client's requirements, the schedule and the rotation you need.

  2. Step 2

    Mobilize

Your advisor arrives with the site orientation, the client's rules and your program already read.

  3. Step 3

    Run the program

Daily field presence, inspections, documentation and regular reporting to your project team.

  4. Step 4

    Hand over

At demobilization you get the records, the lessons learned and anything open, in order.

What you have at the end

  • A qualified safety advisor or manager on your schedule
  • Completed inspections, hazard assessments and meeting records
  • Incident and near-miss reports with corrective actions tracked
  • Regular safety reporting for your project team and client

Questions

Can you provide a safety advisor on rotation?

Yes. We staff full-time and rotational roles, matched to your project schedule and your client's site requirements.

What industries do your on-site advisors work in?

Construction, oil and gas (refining, oil sands and LNG), renewables, pulp and paper, cement and manufacturing, industrial work camps and food services.

Where do you work?

We work in every Canadian province and territory, on site in Alberta and remotely everywhere else. On-site placements are arranged project by project.

Can our records be kept digitally?

Yes. Our advisors can run your inspections, hazard assessments and reports in TruStar Connect, which works offline in the field, so the records are yours and searchable after we leave.
